Letters from the week of March 20, 2003

John Dougherty’s article on polygamy has been spectacular ( “Bound by Fear”, 13 March). It should be a Pulitzer for the way he has dug in the mud in this dirty corner of the planet.

What always forget that the “pligs” were able to isolate, before the criminal prosecution authorities. It is a big part of the problem. What should be done, government organizations, including criminal prosecution authorities, in collaboration with CPS, social and other agencies, in Colorado City. That way, if a girl is forced into a sexual union illegal, it has a place to run.

As in the Colorado City’s Mickey Mouse little plig police, they should be eliminated. The “police” should de-certified. In addition, the city charter should be withdrawn because the city is used as a front for a criminal.

No rights, false: It is really very simple. It is child abuse and it is illegal. And we support this madness? What is happening with our policy and our state?
