Judges are not laying charges against the man accused of bombing the library
U.S. District Judge Dale Kimball today refused to lay charges against Illinois, a man accused of bombing the city of Salt Lake City Library, said Thomas Zajac rights were not injured when Weber County jailers recorded its calls to his lawyers.
Minister of Defence lawyers have claimed the recording was a serious violation of the mandate of the report and requested a privilege for dismissal. They argued that agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has verified nearly 40 recordings of telephone and written reports on it to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors denied the accusations and said they received only a list of calls.
Kimball decided, the government has a legitimate reason for subpoening the phone records of the prison - investigators say they have reason to believe Zajac had made binding vis-à-vis the press and family members - and found that the ATF and the U.S. Attorney’s Office asserts that it did not check records can be protected by the privilege of the relationship mandate.
The judge also refused a request to throw two taxes, Zajac, used explosives to damage a building in each activity, international trade. Zajac’s lawyers argued that operations will not affect the library Out-of-State-enterprises.
