University of Illinois, Chief Engineer William Matthes was killed in a car accident Dec. 23 in Wabash County, Ill.
Matthes, 21, died when his car encountered a guard rail while on a bridge. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

William’s sister Lauren, a freshman FAA, said William’s computers and love as he helped his family, with all its computer problems.
